PEACH SOUP 
4 c. sliced peaches, peeled
2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. white wine (dry)
1 cinnamon stick
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. almond extract
Lemon slices

Put water, peaches, sugar, wine and cinnamon in saucepan. Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until peaches are soft. Discard cinnamon stick. Puree peaches and liquid - add lemon juice and extract. Serve with lemon slice on top - good either hot or cold.
