2 c. sliced fresh peaches 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 c. sugar 3 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tsp. butter Dash salt 1/4 tsp. almond extract 1 recipe plain pastry Combine peaches, lemon juice, sugar, cornstarch, salt and almond extract. Fill 9-inch pastry-lined pie pan; dot with butter and adjust top crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. |
