SPARERIBS AND SAUERKRAUT 
3 lbs. spareribs
1 qt. sauerkraut
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
Salt & pepper to taste

Cut spareribs into small portions and place in a roasting pan. Add sauerkraut, season to taste. Cover and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Mix flour, powdered milk and egg to make dumplings. Drop by spoonfuls on top of sauerkraut. Cover pan and bake for 30 minutes.
