BLUEBERRY ANGEL DESSERT | |
6 egg whites 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar 2 c. sugar 2 c. saltines, crumbled 1 c. finely chopped nuts 2 tsp. vanilla Beat egg whites and tartar until frothy. Add sugar and beat on high until it stiffens. Add or stir in crackers, nuts and flavoring. Spread in cookie sheets and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Let cool completely. Spread with large Cool Whip. Make a cradle inside and spread with 1 can blueberry pie filling. Chill 4 hours or overnight. |
