CRESCENT DELIGHT | |
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. crescent rolls 2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 egg yolk Lay 1 package crescent rolls on the bottom of an ungreased 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Mix together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and egg yolk. Spread on top of rolls. Take the other crescent roll package and lay over the cream cheese mixture. TOPPING: 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 1 egg white Beat egg white with a fork until foamy. Spread over top of rolls. Mix nuts and sugar, sprinkle over top. Cinnamon may be added to sugar if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. |
