1 box yellow cake mix (Duncan Hines)
2 cans sweetened crushed pineapple
2 cans strawberry pie filling
2 medium sized containers Cool Whip
1 small bag crushed pecans

You will also need 1 punch bowl.

Mix cake mix as given on box.

Bake as directed until done. Allow to cool. Place crumbled cake from 1st pan into bottom of punch bowl. Then spread 1 can of strawberry pie filling on top of cake. Then place 1 can of crushed pineapple on top of strawberry pie filling. Then place on top of pineapple 1 container of Cool Whip. Then sprinkle pecans on top of Cool Whip. Repeat this process again.

Please remember to bake cake in two separate round cake pans. Some people use vanilla pudding mixed with the pineapple and some may even use diced bananas in their punch bowl cake.
