2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 c. apples, cooked and mashed
2 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
3 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice

Cream butter and sugar. Add apples to which 2 teaspoons of soda has been added. Add flour, raisins, nuts, and spices and just a pinch of salt. Bake at 250-300 degrees.
