ITALIAN SPAGHETTI WITH MEAT
SAUCE
 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 med. onion, finely chopped
1/2 green pepper, finely chopped
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
1 pkg. Italian style spaghetti sauce mix
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 clove garlic, crushed
16 oz. Italian style spaghetti
Grated Parmesan cheese

Cook and stir meat, onion and pepper until meat is brown and onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients except spaghetti and Parmesan cheese. Cover; simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cook spaghetti as directed on package; drain. Serve meat sauce over hot spaghetti; pass Parmesan cheese. 4 servings.
