BAKED CUSTARD 
1 3/4 c. milk
3 eggs
1/3 c. sugar
Dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Nutmeg

Place milk in a glass 2 cups measure. Microwave on high (100%) for 4-5 minutes or until steaming.

Mix the other ingredients except nutmeg in a 1 1/2 quart casserole until blended. Slowly stir in milk, sprinkle with nutmeg and cover with a lid or plastic.

Microwave on low (30%) for 15 minutes. Turn dish halfway through cooking. Remove cover and allow to stand until the center is set. Serve warm or cold.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
