BAKED CUSTARD | |
3 eggs, slightly beaten 1/4 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 2 c. milk, scalded 1 tsp. vanilla Combine eggs, sugar and salt. Slowly stir in slightly cooled milk and vanilla. Set six 5 ounce custard cups in shallow pan on oven rack. Pour hot water around them 1 inch deep. Pour in custard. Bake in 325 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Serve warm or chilled. |
