SOCK IT TO ME CAKE 
1 box butter or yellow cake mix
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. Crisco oil
4 eggs
1/2 pt. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
Powdered sugar (optional)

Add eggs, one at a time, to the first 3 ingredients, beating well after each. Add sour cream and mix well. Pour 2/3 cup of batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube or bundt pan.

In small bowl, mix 2 teaspoons sugar, 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Sprinkle over batter in pan. Add remaining batter to pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool for 20 minutes. Invert onto serving plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Great as a breakfast cake. Serves 20.
