1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
5 tbsp. Nestle's Quik (or 3 tbsp. cocoa)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. granulated sugar

Pour above into ungreased 8" x 8" pan; mix well. Make 3 holes with spoon. Put the following into the holes: 1st hole - 1 teaspoon vinegar, 2nd hole - 1 teaspoon vanilla, 3rd hole - 5 tablespoons oil. Pour 1 cup of water over all. Mix very well. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Will have shiny crust on top. Serve as is or sprinkle sifted confectioners' sugar on top.
