WEINER BURGERS | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 lg. green pepper, finely chopped 1 med. onion, finely chopped 3 celery stalks, finely chopped 1 c. cubed Velveeta cheese 1 c. ketchup 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. prepared mustard In large skillet add beef, green pepper, onion and celery. Cook until brown and tender. Drain off liquid. Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Simmer 10 minutes. Add diced cheese and stir in lightly. Fill weiner buns and wrap in foil. Bake at 250 degrees in oven for 20 minutes. (Can be used right from skillet as a sloppy joe on hamburger buns.) |
