ICE RING 
Fill ring mold with 1 inch of water; freeze. Arrange drained fruit - grapes, apricot halves, pineapple chunks, orange slices, maraschino cherries, etc. and mint leaves on top of ice. Carefully pour small amount of cold water over fruits (do not let float) and freeze. After frozen add more water and freeze.

Tip: I like to use sugar free ginger ale or 7-Up in place of water in the ice ring so as not to dilute the punch.
