APPLE PIE 
CRUST:

2 c. flour
1 c. Crisco
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/3 c. ice water

APPLE PIE FILLING:

4 c. apples, I use Granny Smith & any kind in season
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. dry tapioca pudding
1/2 - 1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. brown sugar
Dabs of butter

Roll out pie crust to a two crust 9" pie. Place one crust into pie plate.

APPLE FILLING: Mix sliced apples with sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle top with tapioca pudding and brown sugar and dab with butter. Cover with prepared pie crust following directions for a two crust pie. Brush top with milk and sprinkle with a mixture of 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
