1/2 c. butter, softened 1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar 2 eggs 2 c. all purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. seedless raisins 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts Preheat oven to 375 degrees, grease baking sheet. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs until smooth. Combine flour, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt and stir into butter mixture. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared sheet leaving about 1 1/2 inches between cookies. Bake at 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Gently remove the cookies to a wire rack to cool. |
