RAISIN SPICE DROP COOKIES 
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. raisins
1 c. nutmeats (optional)

In a large bowl beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla on medium speed until fluffy. On low speed beat in dry ingredients until well blended. Stir in raisins and nuts. Refrigerate 1 hour or more.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. While still warm glaze with a mixture of:

1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix and use as directed.
