FAVORITE DILL PICKLES 
3 qt. water
1 qt. brown vinegar
1 c. pickling salt
Dill stalks
Very sm. cucumbers
Garlic cloves, split into pieces

Heat water, vinegar and pickling salt until it's boiling well. Pour over pickles that have already been packed in jars with dill and garlic (as least 1 stalk of dill and 1 piece of garlic per quart jar). Seal at once. No cooking necessary.
