3 lg. egg whites 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar 1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar, sifted Combine egg whites and cream of tartar in large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer until frothy. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well. Beat 5 to 7 minutes. Makes about 2 cups. Icing dries quickly, keep covered at all times with plastic wrap. |
