OVEN BARBECUED CHICKEN 
1 fryer, cut up
3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. lard

Coat chicken in flour mixed with salt. Brown in the lard in frying pan. As pieces brown, arrange in casserole dish.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1 c. catsup
1 c. water
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. pepper

Saute onion, celery, green pepper in butter until clear. Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour over chicken in casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
