SWEET BREAD 
1 (5 lb.) sack of King Arthur flour
4 c. sugar
4 c. milk
1/2 lb. butter
2-3 tbsp. Crisco
1 tbsp. salt
12 eggs
3 pkg. yeast

Beat eggs and sugar 10 minutes. Mix yeast with 1/2 cup of water. Heat up milk, butter and Crisco. Mix beaten and heated mixtures together. Add flour and salt, then yeast mixture.

1/2 hour later - bring bottom to top and let rise, repeat 2 times. Let stand for 12 hours and put in pans until half full. Let rise 4 more hours. Bake at 300 degrees for 3/4-1 hour. Yields 6 loaves.
