FOOL PROOF PIE PASTRY 
4 c. flour
1 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vinegar
1 lg. egg

Stir together with fork; flour, sugar and salt. Beat together water, vinegar and egg. Add to flour mixture. Divide into 4 portions (flat round patties). Wrap in plastic wrap and chill or freeze.
