POTATO CASSEROLE | |
2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes 1/2 c. chopped onions 2 c. grated cheese 1 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. butter 1 can cream of mushroom soup 2 c. cornflakes, crushed 1 tsp. salt 1 pt. sour cream Slightly thaw potatoes and mix with butter. Add rest of ingredients except cornflakes and 1/2 cup of the cheese. Pour into a well greased baking dish. Crush cornflakes and mix with 1/4 cup butter and place on top of casserole. Sprinkle 1/2 cup grated cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Makes a large quantity. Bake in 9 x 13 dish. |
