EXCELLENT MAYONNAISE 
2 egg yolks or 1 whole egg
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. red pepper or paprika
2 tbsp. lemon juice or more to taste
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. salad oil

Mix altogether except for the salad oil. Put the salad oil on top. Do not stir.

SAUCE:

1 c. water
1 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. flour

Cook this sauce 10 minutes in double boiler until very thick. Pour hot sauce into other ingredients and beat really well with mixer. Keeps well in jar in refrigerator.
