HASH BROWN POTATO CASSEROLE | |
1 (32 oz.) pkg. shredded frozen potatoes 1/2 c. melted butter 1 can cream of chicken soup 1/2 c. melted butter 12 oz. grated American or Cheddar cheese 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream 1 tsp. salt 1/2 chopped sm. onion 2 c. crushed corn flakes or corn flake crumbs Place thawed potatoes in 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix together cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup melted butter, sour cream, cheese, salt and onion. Pour over potatoes. Top with corn flakes. Drizzle 1/2 cup melted butter over all. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 12. |
