TEXAS BROWNIES 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk

Mix sugar, flour, and soda; set aside. Melt butter and add other ingredients. Mix well, remove from heat. Add dry ingredients. Add 2 beaten eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Grease and flour 1 large jelly roll pan or 2 (9x13 inch) pans. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool a little and on top put 1 cup smooth and 1 cup crunchy peanut butter.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter, melted
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. buttermilk

Bring to boil, remove from heat. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 box powdered sugar. Pour on top of peanut butter layer.
