1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. Crisco (don't substitute)
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour

Mix dough well. Roll into small balls and dab in sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes. Don't double.
