CINDY'S LENTIL SOUP 
1 pkg. lentils, rinsed
1 dry pkg. onion soup
1 lb. carrots, chopped small
1 onion, diced
1 stalk celery, chopped
2-3 c. noodles, elbow or curly
Salt and pepper
2 tbsp. butter

Place first 5 ingredients in 2 quart water. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Then add noodles, butter, and salt and pepper to taste. Continue to add water throughout cooking time.
