2 c. cake flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond flavoring

Sift dry ingredients together three times. Add boiling milk and flavorings. Cool.

6 egg whites
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff. Fold ingredients together. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan 20 minutes at 300 degrees and reset oven to 350 degrees and bake 20 minutes more.
