PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
1 lg. can slightly drained fruit cocktail
1 pkg. coconut
2 lg. bowls Cool Whip
1 lg. or 2 sm. pkgs. instant vanilla pudding mix
1 lg. can cherry pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple, slightly drained
2 c. nuts (pecans, etc.)

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Bake in sheet pan. Cool. Divide in half and crumble both halves. Place 1/2 of cake in bottom of clear punch bowl, then layer 1/2 of the following ingredients: Vanilla pudding mixed according to directions on package, cherry pie filling, fruit cocktail, coconut, nuts, and Cool Whip. Repeat same sequence with second 1/2 of cake and other ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
