WHITE FUDGE 
4 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 lb. butter
1 lg. can evaporated milk

Combine in heavy saucepan. Boil to soft ball stage. Remove from heat.

Add: 2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Beat well. Pour in buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool and cut into squares.
