SPLIT PEA SOUP 
2 c. dry split peas
10 c. water
1/2 lb. hot dogs, chopped
2 lg. onions, chopped
4 ribs celery, chopped
2 c. cooked carrots
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Wash peas. Simmer peas in the water about 45 minutes. Cool slightly. Pour about a fourth of this mixture into a blender or food processor. Add all remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Blend remaining peas. Return all blended ingredients to pot and either heat to serve, refrigerate or freeze.
