2 eggs 1 c. milk 1 c. sifted flour 1/4 tsp. salt Preheat oven to 425 degrees and heat greased popover pan. Beat eggs slightly and add milk. Add flour and salt. Beat vigorously for two minutes. Pour batter into hot pans or greased custard cups, filling 2/3 full. Bake in oven approximately 30 minutes or until brown. Serve at once. Makes six large popovers. This recipe can be doubled easily and I use the blender to mix ingredients. However, time the beginning of the meal to coincide with the popovers coming out of the oven. |
