5 c. sugar 2 c. water 1 c. vinegar 1 stick cinnamon 2 tsp. whole cloves Heat to boiling. Drop enough fruit for 1 jar at a time into boiling mixture. Cook covered until tender. Pack into jars, add syrup and seal. Makes enough syrup for 6 pints. |
