FIRST-DOWN DRUMSTICKS 
3/4 c. picante sauce
1/4 c. honey
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 to 1 tsp. grated ginger root, to taste
12 chicken legs, skin removed

Combine picante sauce, honey, soy sauce and ginger in small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes.

Place chicken in greased shallow baking pan; brush with half of sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Turn and brush with remaining sauce. Continue baking 20 minutes or until tender. Chill or serve hot. Serve with additional picante sauce for dipping. Makes 12 appetizers.
