TEXAS SHRIMP BOIL | |
2 lb. Texas shrimp (26-30) 1 1/2 oz. prepared shrimp boil 1 sm. sliced onion 1 sliced lemon 1 clove sliced garlic 2 tbsp. salt Place 1 1/2 quart water in large boiler pot. Add remaining ingredients except shrimp. Cover and bring to a boil. Add shrimp and return to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes until shrimp are tender and pink. Drain. Serve with Red Sauce. Red Sauce: 1 cup catsup, stir in 1 teaspoon horseradish and a little lemon juice to taste. |
