PUMPKIN BREAD | |
1 c. water 1 c. oil 1 can pumpkin pie filling or plain pumpkin 3 c. sugar 3 eggs 1 c. pecans, chopped 1 1/2 c. dates, chopped 3 1/2 c. self rising flour 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. ginger 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tsp. baking soda Mix first 7 ingredients in large mixing bowl. Sift together remaining ingredients. Mix well with pumpkin mixture. Pour into well greased loaf pans. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. |
