MEXICAN BROWN BEANS 
2 c. pinto beans
3 tsp. bacon grease
Chili powder to taste
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 sm. can tomatoes
2 slices pimento

Boil beans for 3 hours or until almost done. Mix bacon drippings, tomatoes, chili powder and ground beef which has been fried and combine with beans. Boil until all is tender. Then add pimento and salt to taste.
