2 cans (1 pt.) oysters 8 tbsp. melted butter 1 1/2 c. coarse cracker crumbs Dash salt & pepper 1/4 c. oyster liquor 2 tbsp. or more milk Into a 4 quart square casserole, add layer of crackers, followed by layer of oysters. Repeat layering ending with crackers. Add seasonings, liquids and butter. Mixture should be relatively moist. If not, add more oyster liquor and milk. Bake in 450 degree oven for 30 minutes. |
