SWEDISH OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 lb. butter
3 c. oats
2 c. flour
1 1/8 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Mix dry ingredients into butter and sugar. Roll into balls. Place on cookie sheets. Flatten with small floured glass. Bake at 375 degrees about 12 minutes until golden brown.
