SPARKLING CITRUS SALAD 
1 (1 lb.) can grapefruit sections
1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/4 c. sugar
2 env. unflavored gelatin
Dash salt
1/3 c. broken pecans or walnuts
2 (7 oz.) bottles (about 1 3/4 c.) ginger ale, well chilled

Drain fruits, reserving syrups. Combine sugar, gelatin, salad and syrup; heat and stir over low heat until gelatin dissolves. Chill until cold but not set. Stir in fruits and nuts. Pour ginger ale carefully down side of bowl; stir gently with up and down motion. Chill until partially set. Turn into 5-cup mold. Chill until set. Unmold on greens. Makes 8 servings.
