MOM'S CORN BREAD 
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. flour
1 c. cornmeal
2 tbsp. oil

Slightly beat egg. Add 1 cup milk. Beat well. Add sugar, salt and baking powder. Mix. Add 1 cup flour, cornmeal and oil. Pour into a warm, well greased iron skillet. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
