DELICIOUS APPLE PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix together. Place crust in 9 inch pie plate. Peel and slice 6 apples, with each layer of sliced apples put a portion of the above mixture, so that when you are done, all of the mixture will be used. Place pieces of butter on top of apples. Cover with second pastry. Seal and flute edge.

Cut steam vents. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top of crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then lower oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake for additional 45 to 50 minutes (until done).
