CHEESECAKE PIE 
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. almond extract
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, sugar and almond extract. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one on low speed. Beat until blended. Pour into ungreased 9-inch pie pan.

Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes or until knife inserted, just off center, comes out clean. Stir together the sour cream, 3 tablespoons sugar and vanilla. Carefully spread atop hot pie. Cool, then cover and chill until ready to serve. Once cooled, use any pie filling on top.

Shaved chocolate curls may be substituted for pie filling.
