MILK CHOCOLATE AND PEANUT BUTTER
BARS

1 c. peanut butter
6 tbsp. (3/4 stick) butter, softened
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. (11 oz.) milk chocolate chips, divided

Preheat oven at 350 degrees. In large mixer bowl combine peanut butter and butter. Beat until smooth. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Blend in flour and salt. Stir in 1 cup chocolate morsels. Spread in 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Sprinkle remaining morsels over baked cookies, let stand 5 minutes until morsels become shiny and soft. Spread chocolate evenly over top. Cool completely. Cut into 1 1/2 inch bars. (I've never eaten any cool ones.) Ha!
