OLD FASHIONED POTATO SOUP 
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1 lg. potato, diced
1 1/2 c. water
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter (1/4 of stick)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Combine celery, onion, potatoes, and water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender. Add milk, butter, salt and pepper. Heat until hot but do not boil. Turn off heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Add and mix in the Worcestershire sauce. Ladle into soup bowls or mugs. Put oyster crackers on top if you wish.
