HAMBURGER PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 (1 lb.) can (2 c.) cut green beans, drained
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
5 med. potatoes, cooked
1/2 c. warm milk
1 beaten egg
2 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded (1/2 c.)

In large skillet, cook meat until it is lightly browned. Add salt and pepper. Add drained beans and soup. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Mash potatoes while hot. Add milk and egg. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spoon in mounds over casserole. Sprinkle potatoes with cheese. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 25 to 30 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
