HAMBURGER STROGANOFF 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp. sherry (optional)
Dash of pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup (some water or 1/4 c. milk)
1/2 - 1 c. sour cream

Brown meat, onion and garlic. Drain off fat. Add seasoning to meat. Stir in soup and a little water (or milk). Cook slowly and uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in sour cream (and sherry). Heat but do not boil. Serve over noodles or rice. Serves 4.
