TAMALE CASSEROLE 
1/2 lb. pork sausage
1 can whole kernel corn
1 lb. ground lean beef
1 c. minced onion
2 c. minced celery
1 can tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 clove garlic
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 c. meal
1 1/2 c. ripe olives
1 1/2 c. grated cheese

Cook sausage until light brown. Drain off excess fat; add beef and cook to light brown. Stir in minced onion, garlic and celery. Cook until onion is transparent. Add tomatoes, corn, salt and chili powder. Cook slowly for 15 minutes. Slowly stir in corn meal and cook until thick. Add olives, minced. Put in 2 quart casserole. Top with cheese. Bake in oven at 350 degrees about 45 minutes.
