RUMBLEDETHUMPS 
1 lb. potatoes, cooked & mashed
1 lb. cooked cabbage
1 med. onion, chopped
1-2 tbsp. chopped chives
2 oz. grated cheese
Salt
Freshly ground pepper

Melt butter in a large pan. Add onion and cook gently for 5 minutes without browning. Add potatoes, chives and cabbage; mix thoroughly. Season and put in a pie plate. Cover with grated cheese and brown under broiler or in the oven. Serve hot. Serves about 8.
